TOURS
School Group Tours
During the
school year, Sequoia Riverlands Trust conducts preserve tours
for local school children, their teachers and parents for a modest
fee. We provide teacher instructions and field equipment. A trained
docent will help you in plan and conduct your trip where educational
activities address California State Life Science Content Standards.
Field trips are available to grades K-12, just a short bus ride
from your school.
Plan on spending three to four hours and
stay for a picnic lunch!

When visiting
When visiting
our preserves bring water, a snack or lunch,
hat, sunscreen, sturdy shoes, appropriate clothing and watch
for natural hazards, including rattlesnakes and ticks. Please
tread lightly. Since the intent of preserves is to protect
habitat for the plants and animals that live there and for
future generations, SRT prohibits the following: horses,
dogs, firearms, audible music equipment, bicycles, fireworks,
fishing, hunting, fires, and collecting plants, animals or wood.
