As an SRT volunteer you can...

Restoring native
grasses at KOP
- Help educate the next generation by becoming a naturalist to lead groups of elementary school students in educational activities at Kaweah Oaks Preserve
- Staff our fun and educational SRT booth at fairs, farmers' markets, and other events. Let others know about how they too can help conserve the natural, cultural and agricultural legacy of the San Joaquin Valley and Southern Sierra Nevada
- Join the Conservation Easement Monitoring Team and help us annually assess conservation lands
- Work on SRT restoration and stewardship projects
- Contribute your time to staff special events like The Kaweah Land and Arts Festival
- Help run our native plant nursery at Dry Creek Preserve
- Join us in leading SRT nature hikes at one of our beautiful preserves
- Assist us with miscellaneous office tasks

How to become a volunteer
- Fill out our online volunteer application or download it and send or fax it to our office: 427 S. Garden St., Visalia, CA 93277 or fax: 559.622.9477.
- You will receive a call from SRT staff within one week to schedule an informal interview – this is where we get to know you and learn what type of volunteer experience you are looking for.
