One of Sequoia Riverlands Trust’s top priorities is to maintain an active role in the communities we serve. In order to do our work as efficiently and effectively as possible and to serve our community’s diverse needs, we seek your input and involvement.
Some of our community outreach efforts include:
Outreach booths: SRT has hosted several informational outreach booths, both locally and at a state level, to help spread the word about our Habitat Conservation Program and the valuable work we do. We’ve shared information with the public at The Southern California Edison Earth Day Tech Fair, The Reedley College Green Summit, Redwood and Goshen High School and downtown Visalia Street Fairs.

Informational presentations: SRT has given many presentations to farm bureaus, granges, service clubs, cities and counties throughout the San Joaquin Valley and even at a state level. The purpose of these presentations is to increase awareness of regional farmland conservation and the important role that farmers and the land play in our regional economics, politics and way of life. If you would like to set up a presentation, please contact us at 559.738.0211.
Community Partnerships: Outreach in the communities we work has led to strong community partnerships. Working with farmers and local businesses in areas like Reedley, CA has led to important collaborative projects that will help build a strong, sustainable future for the region and for SRT.
